ABOUT LOSAR: Losar is celebrated for fifteen days, during which, according to tradition,Shakyamuni Buddha performed a different miracle each day to increase the devotion of future disciples. The days leading to Losar are traditional days for cleaning, both inner (mind) and outer (house), to prepare for the New Year. The fifteenth and final day of Losar, Feb. 28th, is known as Chotrul Düchen ("Day of Miracles"), a very auspicious day for practice. Everyone is invited to join us to for Losar celebrations.
In preparation for the visit, learn the Short Swift Rebirth Prayer for H.H. Penor Rinpoche that was recorded by Lama Rapjee Wangchu. Click on the music file below to download and play the prayer.
