Spiritual Director Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche is giving teachings and an empowerment during his first visit to D.C. in more than four years. The program schedule is below. Khenchen will give a public talk on Dealing With Negative Emotions, and a commentary on bardo teachings based on Padmasambhava’s Liberation Upon Hearing. This text is instructions on transferring consciousness at the time of death. Also, Khenchen is conferring the One Hundred Deities empowerment. (Please arrive on time.)
IMPORTANT: The bardo teachings are restricted to those who have received an empowerment from a qualified lama. In-person attendance to Saturday's One-Hundred Deities empowerment satisfies that requirement and qualifies one to hear all these teachings. Because these are restricted teachings, please do not share the Zoom link with others. Thank you for attending these profound teachings from an accomplished master of Tibetan Buddhism.
Registration is required for all events. The teaching location and Zoom connection information will be emailed with your registration confirmation. Donations offset travel and other expenses, and support our mission. Suggested donation is $25 per session, however, we turn no one away who is unable to pay. Please donate according to your ability.
